A call that was uncalled for

Can you guess who called me at the store today?? A Provo Craft rep solicited me to come to their booth at CHA. I guess they have been seeing and hearing all the bad publicity that surrounds them over the Cricut and now is worried they have lost their LSS's.

Here is the call (not word for word but close):

Me: Hell0
PC: Can I speak to Nancy
Me: Speaking
PC: Hi, this is____ from PC and I'm calling to see if you wanted me to come to your store for a visit.
Me: Why?
PC: I would like to stop by and see how PC is selling in your store.
Me: Are you kidding? I have never received a call from PC to send a rep to my store. I don't think I'm interested.
PC: Are you mad at us?
Me: Yes.
PC: Is it over the Cricut?
Me: Of course it is. How could PC sell me 3000.00 worth of Cricut in October and not let me know Walmart was going to carry them in early Nov? Luckily I had canceled my order.
PC: Did you get stuck with the Cricuts?
Me: No, because I canceled. How can I make any money off the Cricuts when they are 185.00 and Walmart has them for less?
PC: No, they are only 165.00
Me: No, they are 185.00 with shipping
PC: At Memory Trends you had free shipping
Me: Are you kidding? You want me to pay 165.00 to make 15.00?
PC: I see your point.
Me: You got to be kidding me.
PC: We were not informed before Memory Trends that the Cricut would be in Walmart and therefore, could not have told you.
Me: What if I got stuck with the Cricuts?
PC: You could have shipped them back, I would have.
Me: I will let you know if I decide to order from PC.
PC: That would be a shame if you didn't carry PC because we have alot of good products.
ME: Thank you and good bye.
PC: Ok, Thank you.

Can you believe the ba--s on PC to make a cold call after 1.5 years of NEVER calling, NEVER returning calls and never shipping on time. I'm getting fed up with all the lies the PC is telling their independents. I know of at least 50 stores that will ban PC.


I'm going to tell you all something. The Cricut is no great invention. It is simply a revised plotter that sign makers use to cut vinyl lettering. Cricut is nothing new, the wishblade, pazzles and xyron are all plotters. Pazzles or Wishblade refined the machine to cut paper. The sticker maker at the mall here in Tracy is a plotter cutting vinyl. So anyone that says that the Cricut is great, look up the plotters that cut metal, plastic etc... There will be something coming soon that is better.
