Back with luggage..

We are back... and I have so much to say..

First of all, we will be looking for a design team for Your Pictured Memories. We will have all the details on the website ypmem.com soon. We will be looking for 15 designers to design layouts, decor and projects for us. The designs will be used in our ads, trade show booths, website and in the store to promote the products. We will have all rules and regulations when we finish typing them up.. Look on the website Tuesday to apply. Never better than now to join an up and coming company :)

Also, if you link to us on your blog or website, we will put you in a drawing for a prize worth 100.00 of YPM products. Put ypmem.com on your blog or website and if we read it, you will be entered for the drawing we will have every month. I'm on the net a LOT and if it is on your blog, chances are I will come across it.

Now back to the show:

OMG, we had such a fun time. Our ChipPic and Framease was a great hit. We got so much press because our products were new to the market and there was not anything like it at the show. Yes, we were first to market with our products. We didn't want to come out with another paper line, we wanted to be different and make a product no one else had, it looks as if we did it! CHA summer will produce another innovative product, we are in the works to produce an embellishment tool, this is all I'm saying.

Suzy Weinsburg from Utee products came and did a make n take at our booth; my camera is at the store so I will post pictures of the event. She mentioned we had the best products and placed an order, a huge order :)

If everything goes as planned, our products should be hitting stores in the next few weeks. We will be in stores in the U.S, France, Canada and Germany; how exciting is that? Our frame was another hit, people liked the ease of use. The frame comes with a removable top and is made to slide in our ChipPics. ChipPic is chipboard with our proprietary designs and is made to make books and decor in a flash. Look for our ads in magazines soon, we will be going nationwide.

I went treading both sides of the fence. One side was the exhibitor and the other was the retailer. As you can imagine I was running like a chicken with it's head cut off. I was at our booth for 3 hours and then put on my running shoes to shop for the store for 3 hours. I rotated like this for four days.

I went to a few VIP preview parties to order the majority of products but there was quite a bit I had to wait for.
First booth I hit was Basic Grey's booth, I bought everything... E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Second on the list was Maya Road, I bought E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.

I ordered from:

My Mind's Eye- two new lines coming, loved all of it.

Paper Wizard- Best laser cuts available, PERIOD..

Paper Loft- More family lines

K& Co- We ordered all the new items, including the Girl Scouts line

Reminisce- Ordered all of it, can never go wrong with Reminisce. By the way, the black and white you see so popular now, they came out with it first.. Them and KI.

Crate Paper- All of it

Fancy Pants- All of it, didn't order the stamps.. For 39.99, it was too much for stamps. I'm sure you don't mind paying 39.99 for stamps if the value was there, in this case, it wasn't. I will stick with Autumn Leaves who has great stamps at a great value.

Karen Foster- All the new lines. This is the only company that has been consistent with their releases. The only good theme stuff still left.

Cosmo Cricket- All of it

Prima Flowers- All of it

Alexx Kesh- Great ribbon and flowers. Great customer service too. Marina cut 5 spools of 100 yards into 16" pieces for our make n take. She is awesome!

Autumn Leaves- All of it..

Creative Imaginations- All of it. Love, love their new lines that are coming.

KI Memories- All of it, love the new Elsie line. Wouldn't it be great to have her visit the store???

Making Memories- All of it

Me & My Big Ideas- All of it. This company is the original "Bling" company. They were the first to market with the bling and still the best!

Bazzill- All the new flowers and bling paper

We E Memory Keepers- Bought it all and 100 Cropadiles because it cuts through our ChipPic with little/no effort. 75 green and 25 pink.

Imaginse- All the new lines

Scrappin Sports- All the new lines

Queen & Co- All of the felt borders, cute..

Quickutz- Everything new. They have a new machine that cuts ttf fonts and anything from your computer. Come in for a demo next week.

There is more but I can't think clearly at 12:00am

Here is a list of NEW vendors I found:

Croppin Cutie- They have the cutest collapsible garbage cans. They were the booth across from us and we had to show our support.

B-Line Designs- Beverly and Bob are the nicest people ever! Their booth was directly across from ours. We started to hit it off as soon as we met. Bev was sending customers our way and really showed us a lot of support. They have the cutest stamps ever. We ordered a bunch for our design team.

Luxe Designs- They were a few booths behind us. We ordered three designs from them.

Bind it all- This booth was packed with people from the time it opened to the time it shut down because they were giving away a trunk( think Chatterbox) with a 99.99 purchase. What a great marketing ploy. We know what to do next time :)...We bought 10 bind it all machines because it cuts through our ChipPic like butter. The only thing I didn't like is that they were telling people that their machine didn't cut other people's chipboard, only theirs. What a bunch of quacks...

Delish Designs- They are not new but I never seen them before. I bought their cute Chipboard die cut letters.

These products will be filling the store soon.

Also, wanted to remind you that Ali's Today You class has only two spaces available. Remember Ali wanted only 80 for each class and that she will not be teaching at any other store on the west coast. We have just a few spaces in her other classes. We extended the amount of people allowed at the crop to 100 instead of 80. We will not be taking last minute sign ups for the classes or crop. If you want to join us, you will have to sign up before the 23rd.

Teresa Collins and Tim Holtz will be here this year as well. Tim will be here Sept 21& 22, Teresa's dates are pending.

One last thing, we are keeping track of your spending for our Super Spender crop in July. We already have a few qualified!

Come see our ChipPic and Framease in action next week. We will be doing free make and takes all week with our products.

Ciao..
