Updates
Back to work after a great vacation. Hard for me to have a true vacation because I can not give my full attention to my family while on vacation. I was still calling vendors, answering email and checking on our CHA products while on the road (what will I do without my laptop?). I love my job and it is a vacation for me everyday, but I just wish I could let go for a few days for family's sake.
We took the kids to Lego Land and our intention was to go to Knotts Berry Farm, but it was too cold. The rest of our time was spent sightseeing. Sightseeing meaning visiting other scrapbook stores (just sad I tell ya). Just for fun (I think I'm the only one that had fun), we visited at least 6 stores.
Here is an update of the stores:
Ever After in Carlsbad- Beautiful 7000 sq ft store and a must see if you are in the area. Camille, the owner is nice and inviting just like her store.
Angel's Scrapbook Garden in Mission Viejo (SP?)- Nice small store. Did you know that the owners are the creators of the bind it all. They had some awesome bind it all projects on display.
Pink Pineapple in Vista- Had the some great stuff and up to date merchandise. Not much themed stuff
Scrappin in the Hills- Small store packed with merchandise, packed.
Table Scrapz- Great friendly atmosphere. Nice selection.
Simply Scraps- Nice store with lots of merchandise. This is the first one I visited before we got to LA.
I also visited some non-scrap stores and learned so much. I picked up a few outside tricks here and there. Be on the lookout for some fabulous ideas and decor that will take us outside the scrapping arena.
