Design team call
I know I said we were looking for 15 designers but I thought about it and I thought it would be better to pick 8. By the way, thank you Angie for your suggestions on how to fix my photos... going to try it now.
Here is our design team call:
We are looking for 8 designers to promote our new products. If you are creative, highly motived, actively on message boards and love new challenges, please try out for our design team call.
Submission Requirements:
1 new project that has not been seen on any message board using a variety of products. Must be a home decor or scrapbook project.
A letter (200 word maximum) explaining why being on YPMs design team would be a good fit for you.
Please bring in or send your project and letter to:

Please submit all materials by March 31st.
We will review all projects on April 1st and announce winners on April 5th.
What we will be judging:
Creativity
Personality
Presentation
Quality of work
Winners will be compensated with products and cash.
Winners will received 3-4 full product lines every release and an allowance up to 50.00 (every new release) to buy other manufacturer's products to make projects for tradeshows, ads and message boards for product promotions.
If your projects are published in a nationwide magazine using our products, you will be compensated with cash. Amounts are discussed in the contract when finalist are chosen.
Chosen members are on the design team for 2 -3 product releases. We will chose a new design team every year on April 5.
Designers are obligated to make a project with each line. For example, if we send you three lines, you are obligated to make 3 projects within 3 weeks of kit arrival. If we send 4, you are obligated to make 4 in 4 weeks....
Projects are to be in our mailbox or dropped off no later than the time specified. Every box will have instructions with time restrictions.
YPM will keep projects for up to 3 months to display at our flagship store or tradeshows. Projects will be returned to designer after the time specified.
Local designers may be asked to teach a class at tradeshows, stores or expos.. (not a requirement)
Designers are required to post 1-2 layouts or projects per month on a message board using our products.
We welcome designers that design for other lines.
We are a new a growing company with a tremendous product roadmap. We are seeking individuals that enjoy a start-up envirnoment that can help us market and postion our products. Are you the one for us?

Congrats Nancy and the YPM team! I just had a chance to catch up on all of your success at CHA, sounds like you did super great!!! I cannot wait to see the products in person, as well as all of the new products coming in from CHA!
